UCMP is proud to announce that our students will be participating in the Bolivar Phil Virtual Orchestra Academy, which begins today, May 1st at 1:00pm.
The Bolivar Phil was founded by former members of the most respected and important Venezuelan orchestras who have immigrated to the United States. They recently created the Bolívar Phil Academy Virtual Orchestra and UCMP was invited to be part of it.
Starting today, our students will be participating in weekly master class sessions with renowned Venezuelan musicians and teaching artists. Our students will be sharing these master classes with young musicians from countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, and Venezuela.
They will all work together towards having a virtual concert through called the Bolivar Phil Virtual Orchestra. We are extremely happy to be joining them in this beautiful project. Thank you so much to everyone at the Bolivar Phil for making this possible!
